Travelling to Thassos

Thassos is the northern Greek island in the Aegean Sea which is located just 6 nautical miles away from land.

It is very easy to get to since there are daily ferry boat itineraries which are particular often during the summer months.

There is the ferry boat line Kavala- Prinos. The journey time is 1 hour and 15 minutes. But there is also the line Keramoti - Thassos with less travel time and less expensive.

The island doesn't have its own airport, but the two major airports, the one of Kavala "Alexander the Great", which is just 15 minutes from Keramoti, and the one of Thessaloniki "Macedonia" which is about two hours, serve the island easily.

Whatever way you choose to access the ferry is easy and safe via Egnatia Odos (E90).
