Thassos

Some information about Thassos.

Thassos Island is a green island with beautiful beaches which combines mountain and sea as the pine trees reach the shore.

Green and blue are the colors that dominate in an island that is known not only for its sandy beaches but also the mountain Ypsario.

It is really rare to find mountain resembling those of the mainland on a small island.

The permanent residents of Thassos are about 14000. The island is also known for its ancient civilization and the excellent products such as olive oil, honey, olives, oregano, tsipouro. The island has many natural water sources and generally the water is drinkable.

There are developed mountainous and coastal villages. It has good road network of 100km alongside the coast.
